1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Cortile (cortile.school and its associated applications), you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any of these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Cortile is a communication platform designed to connect schools and families. It offers group messaging, event management, grade publishing and class community organization. The service is available as a progressive web application (PWA) accessible from any device with a web browser.

3. User Accounts

To access certain Cortile features, you will need to create an account by providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. School accounts are created by authorized school personnel. Family accounts are linked to a class through a code provided by the school.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the content you post on Cortile, including messages, images and files. Publishing illegal, offensive, defamatory content or content that violates the rights of third parties is not permitted. Cortile reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms. Content shared in class chats is visible to other members of that group.

5. Limitation of Liability

Cortile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. We make our best effort to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective from their publication on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
